SaaS Capital 2016 Recap
December 13, 2016
We recognize there are a few weeks remaining in 2016, however, it has already been a record year for SaaS Capital, so we thought we would get our update out a bit early.
During the year, SaaS Capital:
- Originated $36 million in new debt facilities to 9 new portfolio companies
- Expanded further into the UK, and added our first Canadian portfolio company
- Exited 5 companies: 3 to private equity re-caps, 1 via a venture capital raise, and 1 through an IPO
- Maintained our track record of no loan losses
We were also very active in speaking at industry events, publishing SaaS-specific market research, and hosting our annual CEO forum in New York.
We would specifically like to thank all the hard-working teams at our portfolio companies who provide us with a constant stream of entrepreneurial energy and good results. We would also like to thank our limited partners for their continued support.
We are kicking off 2017 with a trip to the SaaStr Annual conference in San Francisco in February, so please connect with us if you plan on attending. Also, reach out if you have any upcoming capital needs in 2017. Our target borrowers are SaaS companies with $3 million in ARR and above. Details can be found on our SaaS lending requirements.
Thank you and we hope you have a great 2017.
